Know When to Call a Professional
If you’ve tried everything above and the screen on your Lenovo laptop still isn’t working, there is likely a problem with the internal cables connecting the screen to the computer board or the display. Unless you’re well versed in repairing computers, then it might be time to call a professional. Just remember, if your computer is still under warranty, reach out to Lenovo first. Then, press and hold the Power button for 60 seconds, put the battery back into place, and connect the power cord. Then turn your computer on to see if it powers up properly and the display comes back on. When the computer reboot, it should display on the external monitor or TV. If not, you may need to press F4 on your keyboard (or another key with a rectangle box with vertical lines on the left and right—meant to indicate a monitor).
