How to Disable Giphy
If GIFS are getting too distracting, you can remove Giphy from Slack. Just go to the app settings page for Giphy and select Disable or Remove. Alternatively, if you don’t want to completely disable Giphy, you can click the small blue downward arrow to the right of a GIF that you or someone else has shared to a channel to collapse it. Others will still be able to see it, but it will no longer be distracting to you.
