What to Do When You Can’t Get Connected to Suddenlink
If the problem doesn’t appear to be happening for other people, that’s your clue the problem is most likely on your end. Try these troubleshooting tips to uncover what’s going on.
Are all wires and cables correctly plugged in between devices? Are any objects blocking internet signals? Is your Wi-Fi connection working properly? Is the internet modem displaying any error messages? Is your home electrical service working?
Loose connections. Indicator lights will tell you if the cable box is plugged in and turned on. Remote control battery issues. Manually turn on your TV and cable box, then use the remote to turn it off. If it doesn’t work, replace the batteries and try again. Input issues. If you’ve used your TV for gaming or to play a DVD, it might just be you need to change the Input back to TV. A poor HDMI connection.
Confirm other electrical devices aren’t interfering with the modem: Is it located too close to computers, monitors, appliances or other electrical devices? Try rebooting your modem. Try rebooting your cable box.
Confirm your phone isn’t in Airplane mode. Turn on your Wi-Fi call setting if you’re in an area with poor coverage. You can use Wi-Fi calling on Android phones or make Wi-Fi calls from an iPhone, too. Turn Data Roaming off and back on in case your phone has moved between networks and somehow got hung up. Note: This could result in additional charges depending upon your service agreement.
